Quinn recently made role and company debuts with San Francisco Opera as Števa Buryja in Jenůfa, Den Jyske Opera as Fritz in L’amico Fritz, Seattle Opera as Boris in Káťa Kabanová, Arizona Opera as Don José in Carmen. He recently sang Rodolfo in La bohème in his Utah Opera debut, Duca in Rigoletto with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Alfredo in La traviata with Austin Opera, and joined Opera Saratoga for both Camille in The Merry Widow and Oscar in the American premiere of Gareth William’s Rocking Horse Winner. Last season, he returned to San Francisco Opera for Elemer in Arabella, made his San Diego Opera debut as Duca in Rigoletto, sang his first performances of Cavaradossi in Tosca with North Carolina Opera, and returned to Seattle Opera for Don Jose in Carmen. Acclaimed by the Twin Cities Pioneer Press for his "brilliantly clear, emotion-laden tenor voice," Scott Quinn joins Pittsburgh Opera as Don José in Carmen, Houston Grand Opera as Duca in Rigoletto, and sings a concert with Bel Canto North Carolina in the 2019/20 season.
